5 ways to stop making comparisons right now!

How to stop comparison??

1. Stop the idolization of celebrities.

Idolization is a way to admire or worship someone in an excessive manner.

This excessive manner sometimes crosses the perishable limit of a person which creates an unnecessary problem.

However, people say comparison is excellent, having idols to feel every time motivated is great, it helps you to pursue your dreams.

But if I say a young man wants to be like Jeff Bezos because he admires him then how can he chase his own fantasies because at that instant he should be figuring out what he is good at, what he wants to do in life.

But instead of that he is mimicking or imitating to be someone else and living a life in their shadows.

It eludes me sometimes that Many people still think-

“what’s the bigger problem in this, they are just celebrities, whom we admire”.

But when we are in a quest of idolizing our heroes; we sometimes don’t feel that it is not admiration, it’s an obsession and somehow, we are comparing ourselves to them.

Take a look at our prior blog5 reasons you should never worship celebrities

So, before you jump on something you got to know that your heroes whom you follow fervently never achieved anything in their life without sacrificing anything or without facing any obstacles.

So, if you desire their positivity and fame then struggle comes with it…

Thereby, you better put the efforts, just in the nick of time….

So, here’s a question for you, do you want to be a follower for the rest of your life? Does that really make you feel good? Does that make you happy?

2. Take a Break.

From social media.

Oh yes! You read it right:) It’s the most important and maybe the only thing you can do, my child.
